Rooted in both Colorado and Wyoming, Gwen Brooks is the proud owner of a woman-led State Farm agency based in Fort Collins. Gwen serves individuals, families, and small business owners across Northern Colorado—including Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, Wellington, Berthoud—and Southern Wyoming.

Exciting News: Moving Into Our Own Building

We have some big—and bittersweet—news to share. After the last six years in our current location "The Historic Preston Farmhouse," that building is being sold, and our agency is relocating to our very own dedicated space in Berthoud, Colorado. For a small business, this is a major step forward, and we’re grateful for the community that has helped make it possible.

While we’ll be based in Berthoud, we’ll absolutely continue serving Fort Collins customers. Whether you prefer the convenience of staying connected from anywhere or meeting face-to-face, you can count on the same personal support you’re used to, including:

Gwen’s Story: Purpose, Experience, and Trusted Protection Before joining State Farm, Gwen earned national recognition as a Top 3 advertising leader in Northern Illinois and downtown Chicago. That experience strengthened her skills in strategic communication and relationship-building—tools she now uses to help people feel confident about their insurance and protection decisions.

Her purpose is simple: to serve and protect families and small business owners from life’s “what ifs”—like lawsuits, disability, or loss—with trusted products and guidance.

Gwen began her State Farm journey in 2006 by launching a scratch agency in Belvidere, Illinois. She then advanced into a leadership role in North Milwaukee, supporting dozens of State Farm agencies to implement effective practices and systems for delivering exceptional service. In 2020, Gwen returned home to the Rockies—handpicked by State Farm to assume ownership of a well-established 45-year agency in Fort Collins, continuing a legacy of trusted protection in the community.

A Clear, Practical Approach to Insurance Gwen’s background also includes a successful career in broadcast journalism, where she developed clear, practical communication skills that she now uses to help people understand insurance and protection. The goal is clarity, confidence, and guidance you can feel good about.
